The Official Leak Of The New Free Cape Coming For Minecraft Has Been Leaked

Following weeks of controversy around Minecraft's reporting system, it appears that Mojang is finally attempting to recognize its community. This time, though, they're doing it with a long-overdue free Minecraft cape for all players. Will it, however, be available to Minecraft Java gamers as well? And what must you do to ensure that you receive the forthcoming cape?

Typically, Minecraft only provides its cape on rare occasions or especially for a few individuals in recognition of their contributions to the game. However, it appears that Minecraft now wants to recognize your loyalty to the game. In a recent community post, Minecraft revealed that it will be releasing a "vanilla cape" for any players who purchased both Minecraft Java and Bedrock before they began selling them as a bundle.

That implies that if you own both copies of the game before June 6, 2022, you will obtain this new cape immediately in the following days. However, if you bought both editions for the price of one, you will not be eligible for this cape. So, there is nothing you can do at this moment to obtain the cape. If you purchased both versions prior to their merging into one, you will receive the vanilla cape as a gift.

The new Minecraft cape will be available to eligible Java players in the launcher's personalization area, while Bedrock users will discover it in the dressing room. The cape will function on both editions and should be available to players at the same time. To avoid being the bearer of bad news, the post has subsequently been removed.

Unfortunately, the blog entry on the new Minecraft cape was removed hours after it was published. We are unclear about the underlying reason. However, given the cape's advanced level of development, we are certain that it will be included in the game in the following months.

And although we haven't seen the final version of the vanilla cape, it's a warm welcome from Minecraft creator Mojang. Is this enough to compensate for the previous disappointing updates? Or will the Minecraft 1.20 update bring them back?
