Mojang revealed before the release of Minecraft 1.19 that the long-awaited package will not be included in the update due to concerns with interacting with the item on touch devices. Bundles were introduced with the Caves and Cliffs update in 2020. Unfortunately, Mojang delayed the release of several features, including the Deep Dark, Warden, packs, and archeology.

While the Deep Dark and Warden were launched in The Wild Update, packages and archaeological features were postponed much more. Fortunately, packages are still available in the game's Java Edition. However, there is a catch.

In Minecraft Java Edition, the only way to get bundles is using commands

Although a bundle is available in Minecraft 1.19 Java Edition, it cannot generally be utilized in the game because it is still under development.

Mojang will most likely include the item in the upcoming version because most of the issues with it have been handled.

For the time being, the only way to retrieve bundles in Minecraft 1.19 Java Edition is via commands.

How to Get Bundles Using Commands

Minecraft is one of the few games that allows players to add numerous lines of code and perform a variety of operations in-game. Though these instructions are not permitted in the main game mode, players who want to go insane and push the game to its boundaries can do so.

Commands can only be carried out if a certain planet has cheats enabled. To allow cheats, users may either build a new world with the cheats toggle enabled or go to the 'Open to LAN' options to temporarily enable them in an existing world.

After enabling the cheats, users must write '/give @s minecraft:bundle' in the world chat and press enter. Players will receive a bundle in their inventory as soon as they perform the command. This demonstrates that the item functions fine in Java Edition and has issues solely in Bedrock Edition.

How to Make Use of Bundles

To begin, players must realize that the bundle may only hold the same amount of goods as one standard inventory space. This implies they can hold a stack of 64 objects of any type.

Because their stack is not 64, this will alter if players are storing goods such as Ender Pearls or potions. They can, however, still take up one inventory spot. This means that storing 16 Ender Pearls in a bundle will totally fill the storage. Similarly, putting one potion in a bundle will fill the whole storage.

Players may utilize the bundle by picking it up and right-clicking on any other object while hovering the bundle above it. When the bundle accepts an item, its appearance changes, and a storage bar appears beneath it.
