Bedrock and Java editions of Minecraft may now be purchased together

It occurred. Minecraft Bedrock and Java versions will be bundled and sold together on PC starting today. Don't worry if you just have one edition and not the other: Mojang has announced that players will have free access to any edition they do not possess in the coming days. Both variants are accessible via the Minecraft launcher. They'll keep their individual characteristics and remain distinct from one another.

Mojang initially revealed intentions to offer the Bedrock and Java editions of Minecraft simultaneously at the end of last year. They claimed it will happen sometime in 2022, but now that we're here, I don't feel any different, do you? From now on, the combined bundle of Bedrock and Java will be the only option to purchase Minecraft on PC, but you may always disregard one if you prefer the other.

The Wild, Minecraft's 1.19 update, is also out today. This adds various new biomes, including the frightening Deep Dark and the noticeably more pleasant Mangrove Swamps. It introduces the new frog and tadpole mobs, with three sorts of frogs to encounter that, according to Mojang, will make their own form of the foglight block if slimes are fed to them.

If you wander into the Deep Dark, keep an eye out for Warden monsters, which deliver the most non-explosive damage of any mob in the game.
