Music Triggers Mod 1.18.1, 1.16.5 (Ambience, Ambient Sound)

Music Triggers Mod 1.18.1, 1.16.5 (Ambience, Ambient Sound)

Everything is controlled by the settings in the Minecraft Music Triggers mod for 1.18.1, 1.16.5, and 1.12.2. You place the songs in the appropriate created folder and enter the song titles into the appropriate portion of the config file, which has already been laid out for you. Furthermore, all of the songs are recorded as sounds in the game, therefore music CDs will be made for all of the songs you put in. This does, however, imply that you must restart your game in order to add or remove tracks from the music folder. You do not need to restart your game to change the configuration choices.

After you've made your modifications, use the reload keybind ('R' by default) to reload the main config (and transitions config for 1.16.5/1.18.1). Here's a list of bugs from the prior two modifications that aren't in this one.

  • You do not need to be running Windows to utilize it (Actual Music 5 issue)
  • It makes no difference whether or not the file path contains English characters (Actual Music 5 issue)
  • It does not crash your JVM at random (Actual Music 5 issue)
  • When you hit a mob without combat music, the soundtrack does not reset or skip (ambience issue)
  • You may change the priority of any event, which means there will be no odd prioritization concerns (ambience issues)
  • With dimension 0, you may specify dimension-specific events for the overworld (ambience issue)
  • The music will not cease at random unless you have no songs set for the current events happening or unless you have generic music playing (ambience issue)
  • The menu music does not cause excessive CPU consumption (ambience issue)
